Kirsty Sutherland participated in the West Australian Symphony Orchestra’s Rusty Orchestra

Violin player, Kirsty Sutherland participated in the West Australian Symphony Orchestra’s Rusty Orchestra. Each year the WASO opens its doors as part of their community engagement program to allow over 50 community musicians from all over Western Australia to sit alongside with WASO musicians.

The Rusty WASO is an annual event, characterised by musicians joining together for a few rehearsals, before performing what is usually, a great theatrical repertoire in the wonderful Perth Concert Hall.

Kirsty has been successful in gaining a position with the Rusty WASO on a number of occasions, which has magically opened up opportunities between the WASO education team and the Albany Sinfonia.

Kirsty’s Rusty WASO concert is on the 29th of May 2022, at 5pm. Tickets are on sale at the WASO Box office, $10 each.
