Dvorak Symphony No. 9

Join us at Albany Sinfonia’s upcoming performance of Dvořák’s 9th Symphony, ‘New World’, conducted by Emma Luxton.
Albany Sinfonia are excited to perform this immense work for the Great Southern Community, with the biggest orchestra of local players seen in years.
The music community has come together across the region for this concert to include the valuable regular Albany Sinfonia musicians, music teachers from various schools and private studios and many young students from across Albany and Denmark. The age range of musicians in this concert ranges from 14 upwards towards 80 and beyond! Everyone has come together to work on this wonderful piece of music.
Albany Sinfonia will be joined by very special guests About FACE Youth Choir, conducted by Sue Findlay. With their youthful energy and unique combination of musical styles, this award-winning choir is popular with audiences of all ages. Their varied program is sure to delight all music fans.
This event has a small break part way through, and will run until approximately 3:30pm.
